Compass is a free, modern Astro documentation theme for product docs, help centers, and internal knowledge bases. It pairs a calm, readable layout with the tools readers expect from a premium docs site: a ⌘K search palette on every page, a full section sidebar, and an "On this page" outline. You write in MDX, a few config files define the structure, and the whole site builds to static files with no heavyweight docs framework.
Built with Astro 7 and Tailwind CSS 4, Compass is MIT licensed and free for personal and commercial projects.
